About these terms

These terms apply when you browse this website, send us an enquiry, or order a ring from us. By using the site or placing an order, you accept them. If you are ordering on someone else's behalf, you confirm you have their permission to provide their details.

Every ring is made to order

We do not hold finished rings in stock. When you order, your center stone is sourced and certified, a design is drawn for your approval, and only then is your ring cast, set and finished by hand. This is why our making times are measured in weeks rather than days — and why the details below matter.

Approval stages and making time

Your order passes through two approval stages, and production does not begin until you have confirmed each one:

1. Stone approval — we send you the grading report and a photograph of the actual center stone we have sourced. Once you approve it, we proceed.
2. CAD approval — we send you a rendering of your finished ring. One round of revisions is included at no additional cost. Further rounds may be chargeable.

Making time is 4–6 weeks, measured from the day you approve your stone. Center stones of 4 carats and above take 6–8 weeks, because larger certified stones take longer to source. These are estimates, not fixed dates, and delays can arise from stone availability or courier conditions.

Where an order is time-critical — an anniversary, a proposal date — tell us before you order. We will be honest about whether we can meet it, and we would rather decline than promise a date we might miss.

Prices and quotations

Prices shown on this website are indicative and apply to the standard design described. Because every ring is made to order, the confirmed price is the one we quote you in writing after we have confirmed your stone, metal and design. We may need to revise a price if the specifications change during approval.

Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Any applicable taxes or duties are your responsibility unless we state that they are included.

Certification and stone specifications

We source only certified stones. Your ring arrives with the grading report for its center stone. Laboratory-grown diamonds and moissanite are distinct materials, and the report will state which your stone is. Photographs on this website are representative — natural variation exists between individual stones, and a slightly different color or clarity grade may be visible in person.

Returns, resizing and cancellations

Because each ring is made specifically for you, our returns terms reflect that:

• You may cancel without charge at any point before you approve your center stone.
• Once you have approved a stone or a CAD design, work has begun and the order can no longer be cancelled for a full refund.
• If your ring arrives with a manufacturing fault or does not match the approved design, contact us and we will repair or remake it at our cost.
• We offer free resizing within 60 days of delivery, and lifetime cleaning and inspection.

These terms do not limit any statutory rights you may have, including rights to a remedy for goods that are faulty or not as described.

Care, warranty and wear

Fine jewelry is delicate. Damage from knocks, chemicals, improper cleaning or normal wear is not a manufacturing fault. We will always tell you honestly what a repair involves and what it will cost before doing the work.

Website content

The text, design and images on this website belong to Diamond Hearted or are used with permission, and may not be reproduced without our consent. We aim to keep everything accurate, but we reserve the right to correct errors and to update products, specifications and prices.

Liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaching these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
