Warranty & Repairs

We stand behind the work. Here's exactly what that means, in plain terms — including the parts that aren't covered, because a warranty you can't rely on isn't worth much.

Included with every ring, for life

  • Free cleaning and inspection, for as long as you own the ring
  • Free resizing within 60 days of delivery
  • Certification documentation for your center stone

Craftsmanship warranty

We warrant our own workmanship for the lifetime of the ring. If something we did fails — a setting, a solder joint, the structure of the band — we repair or remake it at no cost to you.

Covered

  • Manufacturing faults in the setting or band
  • A stone that comes loose due to a fault in our setting work
  • Plating defects on white gold present at delivery
  • Any way in which the finished ring differs from the design you approved

Not covered

  • Accidental damage — knocks, drops, crushing
  • Damage from chemicals, chlorine or abrasive cleaners
  • Wear from using the ring in circumstances it isn't designed for
  • Damage caused by a third-party jeweler working on the piece
  • Loss or theft (please insure your ring)
  • Normal wear to a rhodium finish over time

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights and does not replace them.

Repairs and re-plating

For damage that isn't a warranty matter, we'll still fix it — we just charge for the work. We'll always tell you what a repair involves and what it costs before starting, and we won't begin until you've agreed.

Common jobs include re-tipping worn prongs, re-plating white gold, resizing outside the free window, and replacing a lost accent stone. Turnaround is usually two to three weeks, and occasionally faster.

Please don't take your ring to a third-party jeweler for work covered by this warranty — it voids the coverage for that area, because we can't vouch for someone else's work.

Please insure your ring

A warranty covers our workmanship — it can't cover a lost or stolen ring. Add your piece to your homeowner's or renter's insurance, or take out a standalone jewelry policy. Keep your certification documents and your receipt: insurers will ask for both. We'll happily send duplicates if you need them.
